What to expect

Osteopathy

Most people have aches and pains from time to time. You do not have to ‘put up with it’ Osteopathy uses a combination of manipulation, articulation and soft tissue to help reduce pain and restore function and allow you to get on with your day.

At your first appointment a case history will be taken. This will include your current symptoms but also your past history which may well have relevance to your current symptoms and also your medical history.

After the case history there will be a physical examination following which treatment will be given. Treatment will only be given if it is deemed appropriate and you are happy for it to do so. You are encouraged to ask questions so that you fully understand what is going on.
